At the time of this review I've had half a dozen classes with Matias and I like the broad spectrum of methods used. He has also made me work outside the classes, but in a different way to many other teachers: find information yourself, analyse it, and present it back to him. This has allowed me to learn in a new way instead of being bombarded with handouts etc. I can recommend Matias.

Matias employs a comprehensive approach based upon a solid educational methodology and challenging lessons that straddle conversation, writing, and listening / reading comprehension. He is particularly strong in the last area, where, by using transcription and summarizing lessons, he forces you to evolve your understand from words / sentences to context-informed meaning. As a logic-based learner, I have found Matias has greatly helped me advance beyond a plateau where I had been stuck for years.
